It is our prayer that this new local radio ministry will be able to partner with you and many others, along with several local churches in the area, to strengthen the faith of believers, while helping to lead others into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  The station will feature very localized programming, with local people, and a focus on local Christian events.  We will also cover some local & area sports events and Positive Community Activities.  The station is currently streaming live online for access worldwide 24-hours a day from this website and the response has been very positive..  The new Christian radio station is known as “90.9 The Vine” TM.  The call letters are WVYN.  We have received our official approval and Construction Permit (CP) from the Federal Communications Commission, so we have been stepping forward in faith and looking forward to taking the radio airwaves very soon, but we really need your financial help to do so.


We are humbly requesting your support in two ways.  Number one, we’re asking for your prayerful support.  Number two, we’re asking you for a tax-deductable contribution towards the ongoing monthly expenses needed to fund this new radio ministry.  We know that God's hands have been involved in this project throughout our 7-year journey.  He has opened so many doors including another miracle by providing a timely "seed money" low interest loan that has enabled us to begin installing the transmitter and completing the antennae work on the tower.  We pray that you will catch the vision of this LOCAL radio ministry with us by providing financial support where you can.  While this may seem like slow economic times, we know that God is bigger than any banking crisis or  economic woes.  We continue to stand in awe of what he has done and what he will do next.  It is truly amazing and we feel very blessed


Our logo design for the station has been made into a jigsaw puzzle, and the pieces will be put together from the support of southern Illinois people like you who love Christian radio and the encouragement it brings to listeners.  We are seeking contributions from churches, Christian-owned businesses and individuals.  Will you purchase a piece of the puzzle? The completed puzzle will be placed on permanent display on the wall of our public office and studio in Wayne City, along with the name of each contributor.
